Edgar Cayce

Edgar Cayce and Health. Cayce is probably best known for his insights about health and diet. The major recommendations included what today is considered a very healthful diet. Eat raw fruits and vegetables. Avoid red meat and processed carbohydrates. Red wine was healthful but other alcohol was to be avoided. Cayce began the origins of food combining some of us follow today, such as not combining protein with starch.

Dreams. Cayce taught that dreams are best interpreted by the one that had the dream, versus through psychoanalysis such as Freudian views. Cayce said that the reason we do not remember our dreams is because we are not interested in them. If you analyze your dream and it makes sense to you, you have correctly interpreted your dream according to Cayce.

How did Cayce do this? When he went into a quiet meditative state, a trance, he would enter what is called Universal Mind, which is the super conscious mind. This is where all information exists.
