Clairvoyant meaning is to clearly see. It is used in the psychic world as one of the clear senses for perceiving reality outside of our five tangible methods.

There are actually five clear senses.

1. Clairvoyance is being able to see psychic information in your mind’s eye or outside of you mind. Famous psychics like Alison Dubois, of “Medium” fame, see things outside of their body as if they were real. Most psychics will perceive clairvoyantly by seeing inside their head almost as if they are looking at photos or a movie.

2. Clairaudience. I think this is just as popular as clairvoyance. When you hear inside or outside your head information that is psychic you are experiencing a clairaudient phenomenon.

3. Clairsentience. This is feeling. Mediums break down feelings into further detail but for general psychic work, it is sufficient to know that clairsentience is being able to feel either emotionally or physically another’s feelings.
4. Clairgustance. This is tasting psychically.
5. Clairalliance. This is smelling psychically.

If you would like to develop your ability to “see” with your psychic eye you may do so with this simple exercise.

1. Get quiet in a meditation. I use an MP3 download specifically designed for psychic development meditation. It can be found at this link. It works great. You can buy this meditation download here.
2. Take out some angel cards or a stack of old photos. Turn the cards face down so you cannot see them. Mix them up. Pick one. Hold it in your hand without looking at it. See if you can’t see what is on the card. You might see, feel, hear something. Just make a note of what you get then look at the card. You can buy some great angel cards here.
3. You can keep doing this over and over again. It is a great development exercise. Believe me it is possible to “see” doing this. Once I saw a Christmas tree as I did this exercise. When I turned over a picture there was a Christmas tree clear a day!

There is much more to learn about the meaning of clairvoyance. More is learned as you begin to work with it and experience it further. Terhe is nothing more magical and exciting to begin to perceive with your third eye information that could have had no other way to arrive to you than through your clairvoyant faculty.
